Hard Refreshing and Flushing the Cache
If you're experiencing display issues, seeing outdated information, or encountering unexpected behavior in SendSquared, performing a hard refresh and flushing your browser cache can often resolve these issues.
When to Use This Procedure
You may need to hard refresh and flush the cache when:
- New features aren't appearing
- Page elements look broken or misaligned
- You're seeing outdated information
- SendSquared is behaving unexpectedly
- You've been instructed by support to clear your cache
Step-by-Step Instructions for Chrome
Follow these steps to perform a hard refresh and flush the browser cache while using Google Chrome:

Access SendSquared
- Open Chrome and navigate to sendsquared.com
- Log in to your account
- Ensure you can see the dashboard

Open Developer Tools
- Right-click on any empty space on the page
- Select Inspect from the context menu

Access Network Settings
- In the developer tools panel that opens, click the Network tab
- Look for the Disable Cache checkbox and check it

Perform First Hard Reload
- With the Network panel still open, press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
- This performs a hard reload that bypasses the cache
- Wait for the page to completely reload

Log Out
- After the page has reloaded, log out of SendSquared

Perform Second Hard Reload
- While viewing the SendSquared login page and with the Network panel still open
- Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) again
- Wait for the login page to completely reload

Log Back In
- Enter your credentials and log back into SendSquared
- Wait for the dashboard to load

Re-enable Cache
- Once logged back in, uncheck the Disable Cache checkbox in the Network panel

Close Developer Tools
- Close the inspect pane by clicking the X in the corner or pressing F12

Resume Normal Use
- You can now use SendSquared as normal
- The issues you were experiencing should be resolved

Firefox
- Press F12 to open Developer Tools
- Click on the Network tab
- Check Disable Cache
- Use Ctrl + Shift + R for hard reload
Edge
- Press F12 to open Developer Tools
- Click on the Network tab
- Check Disable cache
- Use Ctrl + Shift + R for hard reload
Safari
- Enable Developer Menu from Preferences > Advanced
- Open Developer Tools
- From the Develop menu, select Show Network Inspector
- Check Disable Caches
- Use Cmd + Option + R for hard reload
