Survey System

The Survey System enables you to create, send, and analyze surveys to gather feedback from your contacts. Send surveys via email, SMS link, or interactive SMS with support for multiple question types and comprehensive reporting.

  • Create surveys with multiple question types
  • Send surveys via email or SMS
  • Track completion rates
  • View detailed response reports
  • Integrate with automation workflows

Creating Surveys

Accessing Surveys

Navigate to Global Settings > Surveys to manage your surveys.

New Survey Setup

  1. Click Add New Survey
  2. Configure basic settings:

Survey Information

  • Name: Internal name for the survey
  • Active: Toggle to enable/disable the survey
  • Send Via: Choose delivery method:
    • Email
    • SMS Link
    • SMS Interactive

Email Settings

  • Send From: Select email sender
  • Invite Template: Choose or create template
  • Subject: Email subject line
  • Content: Survey invitation content (rich text editor)

Question Types

The system supports five question types:

Yes/No Questions

  • Simple binary choice
  • Displays as Yes or No options
  • Quick response format

Rating Questions

  • Numeric scale (1-10)
  • Ideal for satisfaction scores
  • Visual rating display

Single Choice (Radio)

  • Select one option from multiple choices
  • Radio button interface
  • Mutually exclusive options

Multiple Choice

  • Select any number of options
  • Checkbox interface
  • Allows multiple selections

Free Text

  • Open-ended responses
  • Text input field
  • Qualitative feedback

Managing Questions

Adding Questions

  1. Click Add Question
  2. Enter question text
  3. Select question type
  4. Set as required (optional)
  5. Configure answer options (for choice questions)

Question Settings

  • Question: The question text
  • Type: Select from available types
  • Required: Make response mandatory
  • Display Order: Automatically assigned

Answer Options

For Single and Multiple Choice questions:

  • Add multiple answer options
  • Remove options as needed
  • Answers maintain display order

Survey List View

The survey list displays:

  • Name: Survey title
  • Active: Current status
  • Subject: Email subject line
  • Total Assigned: Number of contacts assigned
  • Completed: Number of completions
  • Errored: Failed deliveries

Survey Actions

  • Edit: Modify survey settings and questions
  • Delete: Currently disabled
  • Report: View detailed results

Survey Reports

Access comprehensive survey results:

Report Overview

  • Results updated in real-time
  • Question-by-question breakdown
  • Response counts and totals
  • Organized by answer options

Report Table

For each question, view:

  • Question: The question text
  • Responses: Total respondents
  • Results: Breakdown by answer:
    • Total count per answer
    • Answer text/value
    • Aggregated results

Question Type Results

  • Yes/No: Shows Yes/No counts
  • Rating: Displays 1-10 scale results
  • Single Choice: Count per option
  • Multiple Choice: Count per selected option
  • Free Text: Individual responses

Contact Survey View

View surveys assigned to specific contacts:

  • Assign surveys to contacts
  • Track individual responses
  • View completion status
  • Access survey tokens

Contact Survey Details

  • Assigned Date: When survey was sent
  • Completed Date: When finished (if applicable)
  • Status: Current survey status
  • Token: Unique survey link token
  • Public URL: Direct survey access link

Response Viewing

Expandable rows show:

  • All survey questions
  • Contact's specific answers
  • Question order maintained
  • Formatted answer display

Survey Tokens

Each survey assignment generates:

  • Unique token identifier
  • Shareable survey URL: https://sqsd.com/s/g/[token]
  • Secure access link
  • Contact tracking

Contact Survey Filters

  • Completed Date: Filter by completion date range
  • Assigned Date: Filter by assignment date range
  • Date range picker with:
    • Custom date selection
    • Time-aware filtering
    • Clear date ranges

Pagination

  • Adjustable page sizes: 10, 50, 100
  • Navigate through large result sets
  • Maintains filter state
